Wabash, Indiana (Recycling)
The Wabash recycling facility was founded in 1992 as S&R Industries, later became part of Alumitech, and was ultimately acquired by Aleris when Aleris bought Alumitech, Inc. Today, the Wabash facility produces high-metallic aluminum concentrates and fines for the automotive and Building and Construction industries. Customers include secondary aluminum smelters and other aluminum recyclers located throughout the midwestern United States.
